Selecting Solo Vocal Music for High School Competitions
Occasionally I get my act together and write an article for one of the organizations in which I'm active. This is one that I wrote for the Georgia Music News magazine in 2009. It was about suitable and not too tired literature for high school competitions with a chart to help stretch limited resources. I hope it's useful to some of the harried high school music teachers who have to prepare students for Literary Meets and other competitions.
